Our number one priority is making sure our families feel supported every step of the way as they navigate their adoption journey. We break down your adoption journey into four, easy to understand, steps:

Step One: Home Study and Profile Development - Step one is one of the most important steps you will take! You’ve decided to jump into the world of adoption, so now you need the tools to make it a success!
- You will be matched with an adoption coach who will provide you with the support, education, and direction you need to make your adoption a success!
- Just starting on the home study process? We have many great relationships with providers across the states, so if you need a referral, we can help with that!
- Next up, your profile book! This book is the MOST critical piece of your adoption journey. This is what expectant moms/parents will be looking at to decide if you could potentially be the perfect fit to parent their baby. If you decide to take on the task of creating your own profile book, your coach is there to assist you by giving examples, honest feedback and direction. If creativity isn’t your thing, we have two talented ladies on staff who would love the opportunity to create your book for you. They will build your book design off of your style preferences, your own words will fill the pages and your favorite photos will be showcased.
- You will be provided with information on the best ways of funding your adoption, such as the use of fundraisers, grants or loans.
- You will be given access to a library of educational resources that will help provide you with helpful information to get through this phase successfully, such as, parenting/newborn education, the use of appropriate adoption language, relationships you can expect with adoption and information regarding the different preferences. This will all help you make the best, most educated decisions when you start working through step two.
STEP TWO: Networking
- You will begin to receive expectant mom cases from your adoption coach as we receive them from agencies/attorneys.
- You will receive guidance and support from your coach as you begin to have the conversations on whether or not you want to submit your profile for a particular expectant mom case.
- You will receive new educational resources that will help educate you on the various exposures that baby could acquire, talking with expectant moms/parents, and how to best survive this waiting period
STEP THREE: Matched
- Your coach will remain by your side as you begin to work with the agency or attorney and the expectant mom/parents.
- You will receive educational resources that will help prepare you for the hospital, what items you will need for baby and traveling tips.
- If you get the opportunity to have phone calls or visits with the expectant mom, your coach will help guide you through those moments.
- Your coach can help you research the best options of places to stay and/or flights to take when it’s time to travel for the birth.
- Your coach will be available to you 24/7 once you get the call that baby is being born. We will support you and encourage you through the hospital stay and the ICPC wait, if that applies to your situation.
- Your coach will also help you understand the expectant mom’s birth plan and the relinquishment periods.
STEP FOUR: Post Placement
- You bring home baby! YAY!
- You will receive a weeks’ worth of 1on1 text messaging support from New Parents Academy’s certified postpartum doula, certified lactation counselor, and mom of three (including identical twins). Trust us, you will appreciate this support when you are turning to google with all your newborn questions!
- Your coach will help guide you through this very last step by making sure you are contacting your home study provider to complete the necessary post placement visits and making sure you understand what all is needed to satisfy these visits.

Our personal profile designers will work with you to create a profile book that showcases all the amazing qualities you could offer an expectant mother and her child! We have two different packages for you to choose from, depending on your creativity.
Full Profile Design: $725
- Work with one of our profile designers to create a custom adoption profile with colors, fonts, and graphics that express your personality!
- Designers will provide you with guidance in writing your profile and choosing pictures that best tell your story
- You are given a sneak peek before your profile is completed, and once approved, the PDF copy is emailed to you and your coach
